16 Pretty Spring Decorating Project Ideas

In: DECORATING, DIY Decorating Projects, Spring & Easter Ideas and Projects

Today I put together some of my favorite pretty Spring decorating project ideas for you to make to get ready for the season. Everything from Easter decorations to wreaths for your Spring front door!

16 Spring & Easter

Decorating Project Ideas

Maybe it’s because of the long New England winters but I always love making Spring DIYS! Spring decorating projects always make me happy…is it the brighter colors or the flowers…I’m not entirely sure! All I know is that I have quite a few ideas for you to try this Spring.

01. Dollar Tree Easter Egg Wreath

This Dollar Tree Easter Egg Wreath is one of my latest projects for Spring. I stopped by my local Dollar Tree store and picked up some of their Easter craft supplies to make this wreath.

02. Spring Tulip Bulb Planter

This Tulip Bulb Planter is one of my all-time most popular projects on the site! I’ve remade it a few different times.

03. Forsythia Spring Wreath

How about a wreath? This Forsythia Spring Wreath is an inexpensive and quick wreath to make for your front door this Spring! All you need is a grapevine wreath form and a couple of stems of each forsythia and pussy willow. I’ll show you how to make a cute bird’s nest if you want to embellish your wreath as I did.

04. DIY Painted Speckled Eggs

I made these DIY Painted Speckled Eggs when I couldn’t find any at my local stores and the ones online were ridiculously priced! The upside…it was a fun project and I made a huge batch to use in a few different projects for Spring.

05. Cement Bunnies

Do you have any cutesy Easter figurines that you don’t use anymore? Try to update them following my DIY Cement Bunny tutorial!

06. Pretty Spring Wreath

Do you like bright Spring colors? Me too! That’s why I think this Pretty Spring Wreath is one of my favorite wreaths that I have ever made!

07. Birdhouse Candlesticks

This set of Spring Birdhouse Candlesticks takes a little more time to make than my other DIYs for Spring. It’s not hard…there are just more steps to them. But they are super cute, aren’t they??!!

08. Welcome Sign Wall Planter

Here’s a cute way to welcome your guests! This Welcome Sign Wall Planter was made with a piece of wood and a metal container from the Dollar Tree…just add pretty flowers!

09. DIY Rope Bowl

You can whip together a DIY Rope Bowl with some Dollar Tree nautical rope and Mod Podge! This is a simple project and in the end, you will have a unique bowl to use in your Spring decorating to hold moss balls, flowers, or speckled eggs.

10. Spring Flower Crate

I love this cheery Spring Flower Crate! I’m looking outside at the ice-covered trees but having this on my entryway table just makes it feel like Spring isn’t far off!

I had all of these white & yellow flowers on hand but you could recreate this with whatever Spring flowers make you happy.

11. Spring Printable Sign

No need to buy a sign at the craft store…it’s more fun to make your own using my Spring Printable Sign tutorial and free printable.

12. Make Topiary Trees

Have you checked out how much they want for topiaries at the home stores?? Oh, don’t spend all that money when you can make your own for a fraction of the price!! See how to make your own Topiary Trees.

13. Moss Ball Topiaries

Another Spring decorating idea is Moss Ball Topiaries. Add instant green to your space. You can leave these out year-round too.

14. Flower Arrangement in Silver Dish

Another quick & easy Spring decorating idea is to use a vintage container and a few lily of the valley picks to create a simple and pretty centerpiece. Would be pretty on your Easter table too!

15. Flower Shadowbox

Do you have any special dried or preserved flowers? This Flower Shadowbox is such a pretty way to be able to display them in your home.

This Moss Wreath is a reader and Pinterest favorite!! The best part is it takes about 10 minutes to make…do you have 10 minutes?? This is a dupe of the $150 moss wreath that sells on the Anthropologie and Terrain websites!!

I love that little pillow! Fabric is one thing I never do…I think it comes from my fear of sewing!!
