Weekly Rewind
How is everyone else doing? Man, this part of the winter is tough for me!! Between the deep freeze and feeling like I spend all my time indoors it starts to get to me…classic winter blues!!
But you know what helps me over the hump?? Thinking about my garden this Spring!! I’ve been organizing my leftover seeds from last year and figuring out what I want to plant this year.
Sidenote, last year was the worst gardening year we ever had in New Hampshire from start to finish!! My entire cut flower garden drowned from the unbelievable amounts of rain that fell here in the seacoast region.
My go-to online seed companies that have never let me down are Select Seeds and Johnny’s. Both are based in New England.
Some of the seeds are already sold out for the season so if you plan on ordering I would do it very soon.
New On The Blog!
I’ve been busy organizing some of my DIYs so you can easily scroll through them in one place.
I’ve rounded up 17 of my Pottery Barn Inspired DIYs, all of my best vase upcycles, and also a guide to budget-friendly wall art: where to find it and how to make it yourself.
These should keep you busy and maybe help you shake that winter blah feeling!!

Fun News!
Keep your eye out for the Spring issue of Country Sampler Farmhouse Style! They are featuring 2 of my DIY on-a-dime projects. I’ve only seen the digital copy so far. I think it may hit the stands this week.
My friend Stacy’s garden book “A Beautiful & Easy-Care Flower Garden” is coming out in a couple of weeks. I love it! Her publisher sent me an advanced copy and I curled up on the couch and read it this weekend.
It’s perfect if you are a garden newbie or just getting into gardening. But as a seasoned gardener, I thoroughly enjoyed it and took a lot away from it.
Fun Finds
My Walmart had the garden section put together when I was there the other day. There was an entire aisle of planters and plant baskets. So many nice ones too!! Check it out next time that you are shopping there. This is my personal favorite and I don’t know why I didn’t grab it when I was there, it’s under 20 bucks too!
I was lucky enough to snag the last pack of these cool brass plant stakes. Good price at only $5.98 too!
Oh my gosh!! This is just the cutest Valentine’s Day project from my friend Rachel!!!
Here’s one to cheer you up!! My 10 Flowers to Grow in a Cut Flower Garden!!
