Week 1 | Get Ready For Fall!
I guarantee that after you see all the incredible ideas that I rounded up for you this week you are going to be in the Fall mood…maybe even feel like jumping in a big pile of leaves!! Here are my Saturday Shares for this week, I hope you love them all as much as I do!!
NEW HAMPSHIRE LOVE
I had to start off my first week of Saturday Shares with a couple of fellow New Hampshire girls
Isn’t this entryway GORGEOUS!! This is my friend Suzana’s home over at My Farmhousish. I just can’t stop staring at it! I love how the rust and brown shades look so rich against the white walls.
You have to pop over and read her “6 Tips To Decorate Your Home For Fall” and check out the rest of her beautiful home.
I gotta have some soup!
I think you all know that I adore Fall because I love to decorate, but there’s another reason that I can’t wait for the cooler weather…SOUP!!! I’m a soup fanatic, I swear I’ll have soup for lunch every day until Spring! So you know I had to share some yummy soup recipes with you today.
Lauren is another New Hampshire blogger…she actually lives in the same town as me! She has some of the best recipes out there; and a great website too. But back to the soup…here’s not 1 but 15 of Lauren’s best homemade soup recipes!
I’ve been dreaming of this Roasted Butternut Squash & Carrot Soup. I think it will be cool enough this weekend here in New England to cook up a batch too.
YUM-AMZING!
Check out these wreaths!
I saw these two wreaths on my Instagram feed and had to find out what store they were from.. it turns out both these talented ladies DIY’d them! That means you can make them too…
fall hoop wreath
Jordan from jordecor.com put together these pretty hoop wreaths to hang on her garage doors…and see those doors, if you flip to page 56 in this month’s Better Homes & Gardens you will see the cutest picture of Jordan and her hubbie Ben in front of those same doors! How cool is it to make it into a magazine!
OK, back to the wreaths. Go visit Jordan to see how she put together these pretty hoop wreaths and check out the rest of her site too.
DIY WHEAT WREATH
Isn’t this DIY Wheat Wreath from Morgan over at Palmetto Highway so pretty! I love the texture and the simplicity of it. Can you picture it hung up on a dark front door…it would look amazing! Go visit Morgan and see how she put this Fall wreath together.
INSPIRED INDOOR DECOR
These talented ladies blew me away with their takes on Fall decorating! I think you will “fall” in love with them too ( did you see what I did there!)
fall mantle
First up on my Saturday Share is Paula from Sweet Pea. Look at how beautiful Paula’s Nature Inspired Fall Mantel Decor is? I don’t know if I have ever seen such a pretty bittersweet wreath! Go see how this talented lady decorated the rest of her formal living room!
fall centerpiece
Imagine how fun it would be to work with your bestie??? Well, that’s what AnneMarie and Anne over at Simply2Moms do. I couldn’t stop scrolling their pictures of this Neutral Fall Centerpiece; I bet you won’t be able to stop either!
fall pillow diy
When I read KariAnne’s post on how she was keeping it simple this Fall it really resonated with me. She wrote about opening tub after tub of Fall stuff. I can tell you that after reorganizing my basement last weekend, and moving all my bins full of Fall and Christmas, I asked myself “How the heck did I end up with all this stuff!” (Seriously, how did I end up with 8 bins of Xmas decor…and that’s not including anything for outside😳)
KariAnne has the best idea for a super simple DIY Leaf Pillow! You have to pop over to Thistlewood Farms and see how she created this sweet pillow!
…AND IS IT EVEN FALL WITHOUT MUMS???
My friend Stacy over at Bricks ‘n Blooms is an amazing gardener! I love watching her garden tours on her Instagram stories. Of course, she was the first person I thought of when it comes to knowing everything about mums! So, go check out the aptly named “Everything You Need To Know About Mums” so you can keep your mums looking lovely throughout the Fall.
Well, that’s a wrap for the premier edition of my Saturday Share roundup!
I told you that you would be ready to take on Fall by the end!! I hope you were inspired by this group of creative women as much as I have been.
Let me know what you thought about my new Saturday Share feature!

Love this Jennifer! What a great post! And thank you for sharing my mums blog! It is so disappointing when they don’t do well and now that I understand them a little better, I have a much different take on how to decorate with them! Enjoy your weekend!!!
