Welcome to the Weekly Rewind. The online magazine where I share what has been going on behind the scenes, fun new projects, and links I think you will love that I’ve found this week.
Weekly Rewind
Can you even believe it’s May 1st!! 2023 is flying by already. I have to say I just love the month of May, my head is filled with all things gardening.
We are having wet, dreary weather in New England and this week looks the same. On the plus side everything is greening up fast!
But I have so much work to get done outside I need some sunny days. I will be dividing and moving around lots of my perennials in the garden. This year it’s time to divide all my hosta and daylilies again.
It’s not hard to do and to keep your plants healthy it’s a good idea to divide them every few years…plus you get free plants!

Tips For Starting a Pollinator Garden
Speaking of gardening, have you been thinking about adding a pollintor garden to your yard? It’s a great way to help out out bees & butterflies. Check out this week’s Tips for a Pollinator Garden to find out more plus some native plant choices that pollinators love.
Looking for a new wreath to hang up for Spring and Summer?? This week I made the prettiest wreath using all green flowers and ferns. It adds the nicest pop of color to my front door!
Did you miss this DIY Succulent Wall Art that I made? My readers have been giving me such nice comments about it! It was an idea I got from Pottery Barn, they sell a similar piece for $399…I can guarentee you this one was much less to make! I hung them in my office and I love how they came out!
trending this week
I’m not the only one with gardening on the brain!! The most popular article this past week was the Guide to Growing Zinnias. Zinnias are so easy to grow and come in every color! I just ordered a couple more seed packets because I just can’t get enough of them! Zinnias are workhorses and produce flowers until frost, just keep cutting them and they will keep producing more flowers for your vases!
Another popular DIY this week is the Raised Garden Bed w/ Trellis. Perfect for small areas or as an addition to your garden.
If you are looking for good resources for seeds my go-to’s are Johnny’s Selected Seeds and Select Seeds. I have had success with the seeds that I bought from them in the past couple of years…plus they both have a huge variety of seeds that you won’t find at your home improvement stores.
