Welcome to week 3 of my Saturday Shares! Ahhhh, it’s the first weekend of Autumn! I really can’t believe how quickly things have gone from full-on Summer to Fall here in New England. The leaves in my maple trees seemed to have turned overnight to red.

I hope I get invited over to have dinner…
I saw this beautiful Fall tablescape from Bre over at Rooms For Rent blog the other day…and it stopped me in my tracks!
You have to check out her first book; it’s filled with so many beautiful ideas!
The other tablescape picture that I was swooning over comes from Sara and her blog Twelve On Main
I think I’m obsessed with tablescapes because I never do them…I really think I should start!
Favorite Quick Breads
Now that the weather has cooled down my boys have been asking me to bake again. Here are my top two favorite quick breads to make for them.
Glazed Lemon Bread
Luckily, this recipe makes enough for 2 loaf pans! My sons devour the first one in a couple of hours…it really is yummy!!
The Best Banana Bread
My second go-to quick bread recipe is this banana bread one. I don’t even know where it originally came from; I wrote it down on an index card over 20 years ago and scrolled “this is the best banana bread” across the top.
I add mini chocolate chips to mine…because chocolate always makes things better, right?!!
I admit it…I’m a total soup nut!! I miss soup so much in the Summertime. In the Fall and Winter, I always have a pot of soup on.
This Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice soup rocks!! So much yumminess packed into one bowl!!
You have to try it! I love it with a piece of crusty bread for lunch.
Smells Soooo Good!!
You have to get this Blue Fern & Citrus candle on your next trip to Walmart! Hurry, before everyone finds out about them. It smells amazing…I have it on now trying to get rid of my son’s midnight burger smell that I woke up to!!
Hint: The BHG Red Lava Citrus candle is an Anthropologie dupe!!
That’s a wrap of my Saturday Shares from this week! Don’t forget to come back next Saturday to see what I found to share!!
