Hello friends!! This weekend I celebrated my birthday!! It’s been a great year and I can’t wait to see what this one brings!! Also…don’t tell anyone that my Saturday Shares is being posted on Monday…it’s a secret between us..deal!!

It was a cloudy weekend in New Hampshire and I feel bad for all the leaf peepers that travel up here to check out the foliage over Columbus Day weekend. Fingers crossed for sunny days next weekend…I want to hit the road and check out some of my fave spots in the state!
Our foliage over on the Seacoast is behind this year and is just starting to change. It’s been really warm here so that is making things a bit slower.
Here’s my favorite maple tree in my yard…I love it but my husband curses the leaves every year!!
Homebody
We took a ride over to a new store that opened last week in Concord, New Hampshire. It’s called Homebody and it’s just beautiful!! For my local readers…you have to take a trip over! It’s right across from the NH State House in downtown Concord.
Don’t you just love walking into a store that is aesthetically pleasing and smells good…me too!!
I’m surprised I only walked out with 2 bags.. One bag was a few adorable baby things we picked out for a baby shower we have in a couple of weeks.
You can find the famous Capri Blue line of candles and fragrances.
They also have an online shop if you aren’t a local!
New England author and blogger Bre Doucette of Rooms For Rent Blog and author of The Gift of Gathering and the upcoming Gift of the Home was there doing a book signing…I was so excited to meet her in “real” life!! I’m pretty sure she was the first blogger I ever followed (years before I ever dreamed of doing it myself!!) She’s been a total inspiration.
After I saw the picture I felt like the Friends episode where Joey is wearing the 6 sweaters…hey, what can I say I was excited to pull out my sweaters because it was chilly out!!
We visited the Carter Hill Orchard afterward to get a dozen cider donuts to bring home to our boys…and in hilarious news right after we left there one of my sons called to say he had just gone apple picking with his girlfriend’s family and bought 18 cider donuts!! SO…MANY…DONUTS!!!!
We finished the night off back home with a stroll through downtown and dinner at the Sea Dog Brewery.
On the blog this week…
I have so many hydrangeas this year…I’ve used them in a few projects so far this Fall. Here’s my latest Hydrangea Wreath. It took less than 10 minutes and under $10 to make…I love quick and inexpensive projects!!
This week I also shared a good thrift store flip! See how I turned this kinda ugly planter into a pretty vase for my entryway!!
here’s the youtube
My garden is winding down for the season but there are still so many pretty flowers!! I grew quite a few flowers specifically for using dried.
I gathered a basket full of flowers, berries, and plants to make a Harvest Wreath for my front door.
This week
On Tuesday I’m joining in a fund Friendsgiving Centerpiece blog hop with a few of my friends. Stop by to see what I made out of a few of the flowers from my cutting garden.
Here’s a sneak peek at the flowers I cut to use…

Happy Birthday, Jennifer! Did you say donuts? Apple donuts? Can one ever have too many donuts? No. Obviously. Thanks for sharing my library reveal. xo
I think I’ve hit my limit with cider donuts after this week…I don’t think I want to see another one until next Fall!!
