Hi Friends!! Welcome to my weekly rewind sharing what’s new here on the blog, cool things I’ve seen around the web that I think you will be interested in, and fun things that I have been doing in my life.
What’s New This Week
Doing Some Spring Shopping
We took a ride over to the cutest shop located in downtown Concord, NH across from the statehouse. It’s called Homebody. If you are ever in the area you have to stop by…the owner, Carolyn, is super sweet. They also have an online shop for those of you not in New Hampshire.
I picked up these pretty pressed flower plates. I had seen them back in October and didn’t grab them (I don’t know why!!!) but I’m going to use them on my Spring tablescape…so you are getting a sneak peek!!
It was a windy, snowy day but I was definitely in the Spring mood by the time I checked out…although we had to walk back to the car with the wind and snow blowing in our faces!!!
I also had to make a quick Target run and the Bullseye’s Playground was fully stocked with all the new Spring and Easter goodies.
I picked up a ceramic decorative colander ($5), a couple of sets of wooden eggs ($3), a bag of mini flocked bunnies ($3), and ceramic bunnies ($3).
The colander would make a cute container for a little plant and I’m thinking about trying my Rit dye trick on the eggs.

Looking for a nice home decor book?
I was just flipping through my copy of Nora Murphy’s Country House Style. It’s a lovely coffee table book packed with beautiful images from New England homes. It’s one of my favorite home decor books…and I always notice something new. The price is higher than what I paid…it’s on Amazon…so just keep an eye on it and I’m sure the price will drop again. I can’t be the only one that puts things in their cart and then just keeps checking the prices waiting for them to go down.
On the blog…
In case you missed it, this week I shared How to Decorate for Spring With Thrifty Finds and put together all my favorite ideas using some of my vintage and thrifting finds.
Also sharing all their thrifty and vintage ideas with me are Kim of Shiplap & Seashells and Stacy of Bricks N Blooms…
This week I was also involved in a fun Easter egg blog hop with a bunch of other blogging gals. There are so many creative and pretty ideas! Definitely go check it out.
For the Easter egg project, I put together a Dollar Tree wreath with a few of their Spring supplies.
Thinking about starting a cutting garden this year? Well then you should check out 10 Flowers to Grow In a Cutting Garden
I put together 10 easy flowers to grow along with a list of different varieties to try and links to find the seeds.
Inspiration from around the web…
I just clicked through this HGTV gallery of 40 Before & After Curb Appeal Makeovers on my laptop…it’s amazing.
This pretty door basket from White Lilac Farmhouse is so happy and Spring-y looking…I think I have some yellow ranunculus in my flower stash too.
Here’s the cutest idea for making a DIY Foraged Bird’s Nest from Thistle Key Lane.
Are you a soup addict like me?? I love this Creamy Chicken, Spinach, & Tortellini Soup from Cooking Classy…it’s yummy!! It would be perfect if you are in the path of the giant snowstorm predicted for a lot of us this coming week.
And since my son is anti-mushroom but pro-pineapple he asked me to make this Baked Sweet Hawaiian Chicken dish from The Recipe Critic…it’s delish! I have to double the recipe over here for my guys.
Gardening tips…
I put together a free downloadable cutting garden e-guide with flowers to grow and a list of resources so check it out!
