Sharing Some of My Favorite Things From This Week
Happy Weekend Friends! It is peak foliage here in my part of New Hampshire this weekend. It’s unseasonably warm this morning and I have my front door open for probably one of the last times for this year.
There’s a light wind outside and all I can hear are the leaves that have fallen off the trees rustling through my yard. I wish I could bottle up the smell and send it to you all…if you’ve ever been to New England in the Fall you know what I mean!
I missed my Saturday Shares last weekend; I changed to a new web hosting site and my blog had a few hiccups…not to get too technical but there was a coding error somewhere deep in my laptop and it wasn’t connecting to my new web host. I felt like I was in a spy movie watching them control my computer from hundreds of miles away…it was so cool to watch!! Props to anyone that can type and code so fast!!!
For my first Saturday Share this weekend I have to show you my favorite tree in my yard! It’s always one of the last trees to turn in my yard and I just love the shape of this maple!
My poor garden fence is barely holding up on the side!! I had one tomato plant that grew over 5 feet tall and 5 feet wide; what a monster! I think a new garden fence will be on the 2021 Cottage gardening to-do list.
Autumn Toned Sweaters
Have you checked out the Time & Tru line at Walmart? They have a ton of cute Fall sweaters that are so inexpensive! I sadly packed away all my Summer tops and shorts this week but opening these sweaters made it a little less painful!
TIME & TRU COWL NECK IN BROWN ( it’s more of a coppery brown, so pretty!)-
TIME & TRU HOODED SWEATER- GREEN AMBER
Maybe I’ll Be OK Without My Flip Flops…
Even harder than packing away my shorts was saying Au Revoir to my sandals for another 8 months! I eased the pain a teeny bit with these adorable hiker boots…also from Walmart…and under $25!! Seriously, they looks much more expensive.
Good Clean Fun!
It’s funny how kismet works sometimes. I was picking up a neighbor’s mail, while they were away, and saw this Mompreneur on the front page of the newspaper! She even lives in my little town and her name is Jennifer too!
Her company is called MomRemedy. Jen makes safe non-toxic cleaning products that work…and aren’t we all looking for ways to cut down on chemicals we use in our homes!
Go check out her products and pretty website! Her products are also available on Amazon.
Celebrated Another Year!
Yesterday was my birthday and I did something out of my comfort zone…I did a Facebook Live in Thistlewood Farm’s Christmas Decorating & DIY group…and guess what it didn’t kill me, AND was really fun!! I had been so nervous for weeks thinking about it.
Who can relate to pushing yourself to do the scary things and then finding out that it wasn’t so bad after all??!!!
I also shared the FB live ( I made my Pine Cone Door Hanger ) over on my Cottage On Bunker Hill page if you want to take a look!
I’ll let you all know when I go live again!! I have a few easy Christmas DIY’s I want to share.
