Welcome to the Cottage on Bunker HIll weekly rewind. This is my online magazine where I share what has been going on this week behind the scenes, new projects I’ve been working on, and what inspired me from around the web.
What’s New
I’ve been busy getting my home prepared for the big Bloggers’ Best Fall Home Tours this upcoming week! Every day there are 6 bloggers opening their doors and inspiring you for Fall.
I absolutely love visiting all the homes to see how everyone has decorated for the season!
I’m sharing Bunker Hill on Tuesday so be sure to stop back!!

I spent Sunday decorating my front porch for Fall. Oh, it’s so pretty!! All my pumpkins and gourds were from the local Wake Robin Farm in Statham, NH….so cute and all of these pumpkins were $2.50 or less!!
My Fall porch will be up on the blog on Wednesday so definitely check back!!
You all know that I love a good Pottery Barn Dupe, right!! Well, I’ve been doing a refresh in my living room and changing things up a bit and I just added a nice looking floor lamp that is a dupe for the Payton Metal Arch Floor Lamp that goes for $199 on Pottery Barn…my Contemporary Arc Floor Lamp is from Amazon and was $59!!
Seriously…look how much they look alike!! You are prob thinking “C’mon Jen, the Amazon one is probably flimsy!”…nope, it’s substantial and has a marble base, and I love the foot petal to turn it on&off.
The Amazon lamp is the one with the light and close-up of the shade.
New This Week
On Tuesday, I shared how I decorated my entryway for Fall with some of my thrift store finds.
My galpals Stacy and Kim also had some pretty Fall decorating ideas for you!
Stacy of Bricks N Blooms has a great idea for updating an outdated ceramic bowl and making it look stylish.
Kim of Shiplap & Shells has an incredible stash of vintage finds. She shares how she incorporates vintage throughout her cottage for Fall.
Go check out the cute pumpkin garland that I made on Thursday!! I’m hanging it on the potting bench that I decorated for Fall.
I’ve been so into adding more and more green and natural touches around my little house! It makes it feel so peaceful and inviting. This week I DIYd some new wall art using moss.
You can see the 3 pieces of Moss Wall Art here.
Around The Web
You are going to want to head over to Dollar Tree and pick up a few packs of burlap leaves! I adore the wreath that Rachel of The Ponds Farmhouse just made!! It’s so easy too…
This is my favorite thing of the week!!! I LOVE this pumpkin outdoor topiary that my west coast friend Wendy made this week. It’s adorbs!!
I love soup season and I love a good corn chowder…but you have to say it with my Boston accent “chow-dah”!!! Check out my Nebraska friend Jen over at Midwest Life & Style’s Creamy Chicken and Corn Chowder.
Please go and check out Kelly at The Tattered Pew’s Fall home tour! Oh, that green dresser is an icon!!
