The Weekly Rewind is my online magazine where I get to share what has been going on behind the scenes, places I’ve visited that I think you would love, shopping finds, and inspiring pictures and projects from around the web.
What’s Been Happening
This part of June is just so beautiful in New Hampshire! It’s hard to believe that just over a month ago I was just starting to get leaves on my trees!! All of my knockout roses are in bloom…and my peonies are just spectacular this week! I just wish peonies lasted longer….
We have had some perfect weather lately which means I needed to get my dose of salt air! It is so good for the soul to breathe in that crisp ocean air and let the wind mess up your hair! Don’t let that picture fool you…the ocean temp up here is 59°!!!!
We stopped by Fuller Gardens on Friday. It’s located at a turn-of-the-century Summer estate and is now a seaside botanical garden.
When I saw that all of the roses were in bloom I had to get down there! You wouldn’t believe how incredible the smell is when you walk through the gardens. I’ll be sharing my tour later this week...after I get through the 1,000 pictures that I took!
I also stopped by my favorite local antique store, The Collector’s Eye in Stratham, NH.
This weekend they are having a Summer Solstice Sale and almost everything is 20% off!! Gotta love a sale at an antique store!!
Stayed tuned this Tuesday to see what I did with my vintage finds!
Lately on the Blog
This week was the Blogger’s Best Summer Home Tours. There are 30 different homes to check out and grab inspiration from! You will find all design styles and locations scattered across the country.
I have checked out all of the homes, gardens, and patios and am blown away by how talented this group of gals is!
I shared my patio area all dolled up for Summer! If you love red, white, and blue this one is for you!
This quick little patriotic DIY is going crazy over on Pinterest! I have to admit it might be my favorite red, white, and blue project!
Even if you aren’t crafty you can do this one!!
One of the new things I did outside this season was to add a patio kitchen garden. Unlike my other gardens, there was no digging… how does that sound???
I used elevated raised beds and a bunch of planters & pots! A super easy way for me to add more veggies, herbs, and flowers to my life!
Love this!
One thing I am just loving this week is following along with Leslie from My 100-Year-Old Home as she tours and shops in Provence. It’s just dreamy and if you love French antiques and scenery you will get lost in her stories from her trip so far!
Do you follow Molly In Maine on Instagram?? She just started a blog! You will feel like you are taking a New England vacation when you scroll through her pictures!! See her advice for choosing blue paint colors for a cohesive look.
OK friends, I have been thinking about blueberry pie lately…actually blueberry recipes in general! Fresh blueberry season and blueberry picking will start here in New Hampshire in a few weeks. Have you ever gone blueberry picking??
I have this Blueberry Crumb Pie from Sally’s Baking Recipes bookmarked for that 1st quart of fresh berries!
Stay Tuned…
