I just finished putting one of those year-end reels together over on Instagram…and I have to admit it was so fun to just look through my photo scroll of 2021. Sometimes it’s easy to just get caught up in the day-to-day that you don’t take the time to look back to see where you just traveled from.
2021 was a big growth year for me on Cottage of Bunker Hill... a huge thanks to all of you who stop by to check out what’s happening over here!! Much Love to You All!! –Jennifer

Top 10 Countdown
10. Heart Wreath
I was just thinking about this heart wreath! I’m not a huge Valentine’s decorator but I loved how dainty and pretty this wreath came out!
I formed the heart-shaped wreath base using grapevine garland…but you could use a premade heart grapevine wreath and create a similar look.
9. New England Fall Home Tour
It was such a beautiful Fall here in New England! We had glorious weather in New Hampshire which extended our foliage season…and also my flower garden. I actually can totally relate to all my warm weather friends now trying to decorate outside and sweating!!!
For my Fall kitchen I really embraced traditional warm colors. I DIYd a few things for Fall that I loved too like my pinecone pumpkins and this dried wheat centerpiece.
8. Spring Tour
Looking back at this Spring home tour post has me dreaming about Spring…I like winter until just about the first week until January…
I love the hope that Spring brings. The first signs of daffodils popping through the snow or that first morning that you hear the birds singing at dawn.
One of my favorite DIYs for Spring was these cute bunnies.
7. Cottage Garden Tower
This cottage garden tower is definitely a favorite project of mine too!! It’s a fairly quick and easy one too…plus inexpensive to make. Last Spring I did a big garden expansion to make room for a raised bed cutting garden and I had this little planter right up front by the gate.
6. Wood Bead Wreath
This bead wreath was made for the Fall but can totally be tweaked for any season! All you have to do is switch out the floral picks for something seasonal.
You have to check out the easy peasy way I dyed the unfinished wood beads too..it’s definitely one to put in the mental vault!!
5. Jordan Marsh Blueberry Muffins
My favorite blueberry muffin recipe!! If you are from New England than you are probably familiar with the Jordan Marsh department store.
They had little bakeries that sold the most delicious blueberry muffins. When they went out of business the original baker shared his famous recipe and this is it!!
(I’m so hungry typing this and want to make muffins now!!)
4. Pumpkin Door Hanger
I received so much posititive feedback from this little pumpkin!!
Using a Dollar Tree metal pumpkin frame and the cutest set of wood buffalo checked beads to create this adorable wreath for my front door. Save it on your Fall Pinterest board! Sidenote: the set of beads is only $4.99 today on Amazon…I paid around $12 for the set.
3. Pottery Barn Inspired Vase
Oh, going through the pictures for this project reminded me that I have to hit the thrift store to see what they have soon…you know after everyone does the New Year’s purge…it’s when I find the coolest stuff to flip!!
This vase started out as a glass thrift store vase that had a cool shape that caught my eye.
This is an easy project…even if you are not crafty you can make it!! So go check out your vase stash or go hit the thrift store to see what you can find to transform.
2. Jingle Bell Wreath
You all LOVED this wreath!! Thank you for all the kind comments on the blog and on social media about this one! I was inspired by a pricey wreath I had seen in the Arhaus catalog…I knew I could make an affordable knock-off wreath that I could teach you all how to make.
I was sad to pack this one away!!
1. Pottery Barn Looks For Less
This Pottery Barn Looks for Less post blew all the others away in views!! I honestly had no idea when I was researching and writing this one last January how many people would find it and be helped from it!! It’s also the #1 post that my readers sent messages about to share what they got and how it looked in their homes…I just LOVE that!!
If you are in love with something from Pottery Barn and need help finding a knock-off look drop me a message and I’ll try to see if I can help…I’m pretty good at searching for dupes!!
And yes, yes I am going to put together another Looks for Less later this month (these posts take time to research and put together because I might find a knock-off for something but if it has crappy reviews I definitely don’t want to recommend it to all of you.)
Thanks for being part of Cottage on Bunker Hill this past year!! I love doing this and I can’t wait to share so many awesome things in 2022 with all of you!!!
GREART IDEEAS YOU ARE SO SMART
So many great posts from your year! I’ve loved following along and wish you more success in 2022! And I will be looking for more Pottery Barn formless posts too! Hugs!
