Weekly Rewind
Hi Friends! I hope you all had a great week! August is flying by, isn’t it???!! Geez, I feel like I just flipped the calendar over and this week heads right into September!
Fall is sneaking its way into New Hampshire. The mornings are very cool and sometimes foggy. We even have leaves on the front lawn that have already fallen.
The prediction for Fall foliage this year in New England came out and it looks like the leaves will stick on the trees longer, but the colors will be more pastel because of the ridiculous amount of rain we had this Summer.
I’ve finally cut a few…and I do mean a few…flowers from my garden. I had thrown a few zinnia seeds in the garden bed with my peppers and they were the only ones that grew. Everything else is dwarfed by the excessive rain and lack of sun we have had.
I actually said that I hoped for an early frost to put me out of my misery! I’m sure by February this will all be a distant memory and I’ll have all the garden catalogs spread across the floor and be circling things like crazy.
