Let’s be honest: Pottery Barn’s lighting collection is gorgeous… but those price tags? Not so much. The good news? You don’t need a designer budget to get that same high-end glow.
I’ve hunted down the most spot-on, budget-friendly floor lamps that deliver Pottery Barn’s signature style—think sleek arcs, organic wood bases, and linen drum shades—for a fraction of the cost. Even better? These picks are all highly rated, under $150(most much less), and most importantly, look like you splurged when you definitely didn’t.
When I was looking for a floor lamp for my own living room I came across so many lamps that looked almost exactly like the ones I have seen on Pottery Barn!!

Budget Floor Lamp Finds
If you have been a reader here for a while then you know I have a passion for finding and sharing budget alternatives for things I have seen on pricey online retailers. I get such a kick from finding a good dupe of something!!
Today I have found almost the same lamp look or in some cases, I believe they are actually the same lamp!! You will be amazed at the difference in prices too!! Your pocketbook will be thanking me…
Arc floor lamps
This is the lamp that sent me down the rabbit hole of finding copycat floor lamps!!! When I was updating a couple of things in my living room I wanted to add a floor lamp. So my first stop was the Pottery Barn website to see how they were using floor lamps with sectionals to get a visual on what I was looking for.
I loved the more contemporary style of the PB Payton Arc Floor Lamp and set out to find something similar for way less! The one I ended up getting was from Amazon and I really love the look of it…plus it has a petal to turn it on & off which is a nice feature.
You can see my living room tour here!
Chelsea v. barton
The look of these two lamps is so, so similar! The biggest difference is the base of the lamps…but who sees that anyway??? I’d take the 100-dollar lamp and put the extra 300 I saved to good use!!!
Modern Brass Floor Lamps
This style of floor lamp is popular right now. I like the warm metallic tone of the aged brass. This style of lamp would work in both a more modern style room, modern farmhouse, & transitional decor styles.
I also found an even less expensive metal floor lamp on Amazon that is quite similar except for the base of the lamp.
black dome lamp
If brass isn’t your thing there is always a black metal lamp. The dome floor lamp style is the perfect size to pop next to a chair or for a smaller space. The Pottery Barn lamp has been updated to the 2025 version, which also has brass on it now.
The Pottery Barn Lark Lamp was a tough one to find a copycat version!
OK, I actually think this lamp was made at the same factory as the Pottery Barn one! They look identical, I can’t find a difference. The Walmart Black Dome Lamp which is still kinda pricey but it its still half the price of the Pottery Barn floor lamp.
tripod lamp
The wood tripod-style lamps are so fun, aren’t they? I always picture them in a hip apartment!!
Mid-century modern style decor is still very popular and this is a cool addition to a room.
Again, this lamp is over a $300 savings going with the Amazon Tripod Lamp copycat version of the Pottery Barn Axson Wood Floor Lamp.
PB Payton v home depot
These two modern looking floor lamps are so similar in look. The updated budget-friendly version is actually less expensive than the original version. The new found lookalike version is around $55.
Brass floor lamp
Here’s the 2022 take on the old lamp and table combo of the 90s!!! Much more modern and streamlined designs on both the Pottery Barn Delaney Floor Lamp and the more affordable copycat version Lowe’s Jacinta Floor Lamp for $149.
black & brass floor lamps
This is another one that is so, so similar to the more expensive Pottery Barn version!! The only difference looks to be the base of the two lamps. Hey, with the extra 368 bucks that I just saved you with the Home Depot lamp, you’ll have to take me to lunch!!!
Oval Shade Floor Lamp
Here’s another floor lamp find that I think was made at the same place as the Tuppence floor lamp! I love the modern look of this lamp and the oval shades and double chain pulls. What a nice addition to a living room.
Who knew lighting could make such a dramatic difference—or that you could get the Pottery Barn look without the shocking price tag?
From sleek arc lamps to rustic tripod bases, we’ve proven that great style doesn’t require a designer budget. These picks aren’t just affordable—they’re highly rated and deliver that same elevated glow.
