The Weekly Rewind is my online magazine where I get to share a little behind the scenes, latest projects, great shopping finds, and all the great ideas that I found around the web during the week.
This Week
I’m winding down from a quiet weekend…I had the house to MYSELF!! My husband was down in Newport, RI golfing for the weekend with a bunch of college buddies and my son slept over at his buddy’s house…total peace and quiet!!!!
There was extra buttery popcorn and I switched between Farmhouse Fixer (HGTV) and Maine Cabin Masters(Magnolia). I love both of those shows…and not because they are both based in New England! Def check them out if you haven’t seen them.
This week I’ve been slowly pulling things together inside for Fall, I would love to say I get it all done quickly but I take my time…and move things from here to there (then stand back and look at it!)! Often, in the midst of it all, I get a good idea for a project and have to run off and start it!!
Even though it’s September my cut flower garden is still going strong. It was slow going for most of our super-dry Summer in New England and some plants seem far behind.
All my cosmos are finally flowering and look so pretty when I look out of my bedroom window!
I’m trying my hand at bottleneck gourds again this year. They have pretty white flowers that remind me of moonflowers and seem to really get growing as the Summer winds down.
Last year the gourds that I grew got in an unexpected freeze and I didn’t get the chance to dry them out…I’d love to dry out a few smaller ones to use next Fall because I am obsessed with all the dried gourds my blogging friends are using this Fall in their decorating!!
We just took a ride around the corner to one of the local farms, Wake Robin Farm, because they put their pumpkins out today!! I wanted to make sure I could get first pick and finds all the ones with cool stems!!
This farm is being run by the 14th generation of the same family!! Pretty cool, right??
Those huge pumpkins were only $15!! The pumpkins in the row of bins were between $1.50 and $2.50 and the larger ones in the background were $6! I grabbed a bunch of smaller ones and will go back for some larger ones later this week.

What inspired me this week
I loved this cute pumpkin idea that Amy Sadler created this week! She has an easy-to-follow DIY so you can make one too.
There is nothing that I love more than finding a good Pottery Barn look for less!! Check out all the fantastic looks Stacy of Bricks N Blooms has designed for you this week! Love them all!
I am borderline obsessed with Half Baked Harvest and all of Tieghan’s recipes. In her Sunday emails, she sends out a weekly meal plan…it’s always so good! Check out this week’s menu (I’m making this Broccoli, Cheddar, Chicken, and Noodle dish tonight!)
Sometimes I need to get an inspiration boost too! I love scrolling through my friend’s sites to look at their styling pictures. You have to see Kim from Shiplap and Shells Fall Tour to be inspired, love all her touches brought in from nature.
This week the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia line is on sale for 25% off through 9/17. Good time to grab those things you saw in the new Fall line but were waiting until they went on sale…
Stop by this week, I have a few fun Fall things up my sleeve to share with you!! –Jennifer
I still can’t get over how stinkin’ cute your jack-o-lantern dupe turned out. Love it!
