Cottage on Bunker Hill | Weekly Rewind vol. 42

In: LIFESTYLE, Weekly Rewind

The Weekly Rewind is where I get to share what has been going on behind the scenes, things I’ve seen while out shopping that I think you would all like, and inspiring pictures and projects from around the web.

On the Blog

It’s been a busy time around here! The start of a new season always means lots of new decor ideas and projects coming your way!

I always love decorating for Spring after the long winters up here in New Hampshire…even if it is still cold and I’m typing this under my fuzzy throw blanket we made it to Spring and the daffodils are coming up!!

Here’s My Recap of the last 2 weeks (I was sick last weekend & missed my Weekly Rewind)

This post may include affiliate links; you can read my disclosure policy here.

Bunny Wreath

adding a raffia bow onto a wreath

This Moss Covered Bunny Head Wreath project has been a hit around the web over the past couple of weeks! This started with one of those Dollar Tree wire bunny head wreath frames…so go grab one and make this for your door! You will need the frame, grapevine garland, and a bag of moss, plus a few little flowers.

I’ve shared before how you should have a grapevine garland in your decorating stash. They are usually 15 ft long so you can use just one in countless projects( Here’s a 2 pack of 15ft grapevine garlands from Amazon for $16). Just this Spring I have used a little grapevine in my Spring Flower Crate and on this table setting.

Vintage Spring Entryway

Oh, I had fun putting this Spring look together on my entryway table! I pulled out a bunch of my thrifted and vintage stash to create a pretty look for Spring.

My friends Stacy and Kim also shared their thrifting and shopping finds!!

Bricks n Blooms

This month Stacy is sharing 7 Fun Finds From A Thrift Store Near Me. I love seeing shops in other parts of the country. Stacy recently moved into a beautiful old farmhouse and has been fixing up her new home. It’s very fun to follow along (prob more fun than actually having to do all the work!!!)

Shiplap & Shells

Kim is going to take you on a beautiful trip with her out in the Pacific Northwest for Vintage Garden Decor and Spring Flower Shopping. Kim has the most beautiful garden that you have to go see! It looks so pretty in every season and I love looking at her pictures!

Kitchen Cutlery Sign

This week I shared how to DIY this kitchen sign with a couple of things I found in the craft aisle of Walmart! I love the retro feel of the big fork, knife, & spoon!!

Monthly Supper Club

This week I was the guest host for a virtual supper club with a few of my blogging friends. They get together every month with a different theme and guest host. Each of the hosts shares a tablescape idea and then a recipe. All the recipes create a complete menu…isn’t that cool! This month’s theme was Easter Brunch.

I shared a tablescape plus a how-to for creating the centerpiece and a cute embellishment for the napkin rings!

And my part of the Supper Club Easter Brunch Menu is this recipe for Asparagus, Bacon, & Egg Mini Croissants

Spring Fun

On a bleak, rainy day I know one thing that can always make me feel better…a trip to my local nursery!! I was on the hunt for a few Spring flowers to use in my centerpiece from my Easter tablescape and flowers for my porch…plus I needed to feed my houseplant addiction!! I bought a new String of Pearls plant..it’s my 4th one!! They usually last about 6 or 7 months and then go downhill fast…

Rolling Green Nursery, Greenland, NH

There were the prettiest colors of violas that I have ever seen! I picked up a few different varieties including a few of the lilac ones in the picture.

For Your Plants…

On my Walmart trip, I went and checked out the outdoor/patio section to see if they had any of the new products I had seen online.

There are a few new really nice-looking plant stands available in-store and online. Here are 2 of the ones that I loved!

I grabbed this new Better Homes & Gardens Terranium for myself. It was the centerpiece on my Spring Home Tour table but I am going to plant a few mini succulents and plants when I’m done with it in the kitchen. It’s really cute in real life!! Sometimes we just have to reward ourselves with something nice.

What I’m Crushing On This Week…

Now here are a few things I was just in love with this week!!

This Colorado home tour from The Tattered Pew’s new home…love it all!!

This is the prettiest Spring project!!

Keep an eye out for the Summer Country Sampler Farmhouse Style edition to see my blogging friend Robyn from the blog Robyn’s French Nest! Her home is just gorgeous…I love seeing friends when I open magazines…a few years ago I would have said you were loony if you said I would know people in magazines or actually be in one!! It’s funny the path life puts us on that you don’t see coming…

Feeling down?? Go check out all the ways Ann from Dabbling & Decorating uses tulips!! So many pretty pictures..

This week I will be decorating my porch for Spring…if it ever warms up! It’s only 25° today so I can guarantee I’m not going out there to finish decorating!! It’s getting so cold tonight here that I brought my pansies down into my basement just to be safe (imagine if they died before I even used them!!) I have the prettiest wreath that I made to hang and share too!!

You have been very busy. I bet you cannot wait to get some nice weather and work in the garden. I am itching over here to working in my flower and herb garden. Hopefully the weather will get better for both of us.

Love all of your projects and tours.
