Welcome to another weekly rewind. Sharing what’s been going on this week and fun ideas that I found during the week that I think my readers will love.
Weekly Rewind
We enjoyed crazy warm temps in New England this week! It was so nice to have the windows open, get outside, and work in the garden a little.
There is so much work to be done outside, I really have my work cut out for me this Spring.
But I’m really looking forward to this year’s garden and sharing it all as it grows.
Some of the tulips I planted in the Fall are coming up and starting to flower. I planted so many so I hope the rest start breaking ground this week.
It’s nice to see the hyacinths that I used in a Spring centerpiece last year and planted in my garden after came up in the garden! It’s worth planting those pots of bulbs you buy at the grocery store.

Saturday I stopped by my local nursery, Gardener’s at Rolling Green, for the first time this year. It was such a pretty Spring morning…and I love the smell of dirt & plants!
The nursery was just purchased by Gardner’s Supply Compay which is based one state over in Vermont. They are my go-to for all of my plant supports.
I’ve used their tomato & vegetable ladders for 15 years…the same ones! They still look brand new, worth every cent!!
They also have a storefront on Amazon with their most popular products.
Their cucumber trellis and folding pea fence are always in use in my garden too.
In amazing news, I left without buying a houseplant!! I did get herbs for a garden project though.
Stopped by Target the other night for house supplies and noticed these adorable glass vases in the Dollar Spot. They are $5 and come in 2 shapes. The rattan-covered glass vases are really popular this year.
This photo is going crazy this month on Pinterest. It was from my porch a few Springs ago when it was too cold to put out real flowers yet. It was a vintage toolbox with artificial flowers and a bunny tucked in on my $2 thrift store chair. It was part of my 7 Things Never To Pass Up at the Flea Market.
The first new plantings of 2023 went in this weekend, herbs and a few Spring vegetables like Swiss chard, Brussels sprouts, & broccoli.
You can read my tutorial on how I made Clay Plant Markers for this garden bed. They are so cute!
