Weekly Rewind
Hello, my friends! It’s been another busy and fun week at Bunker Hill! Fall-a-palooza surrounds me in my home! There are so many projects in the works for the next few weeks.
Even though I could work 24 hours a day because I love it so much I have to make sure I take some time off and do some fun things too!!
September is a fantastic month to be in New England, it’s still warm but tourist season has died down for a few weeks (until the leaf peepers descend at the end of the month!!).
I’ve been having some fun right in my community too. Recently, was the annual U.F.O. festival! It celebrates the Incident in Exeter that happened in the ’60s. There are lectures etc. but most people go for the fun family atmosphere downtown.

Who doesn’t like to see dogs dressed up as aliens?? It’s all in good fun!
Downtown Exeter, NH looks like the set of the Gilmore Girls! Cozy New England town with a bandstand in the center of town. Lots of colonial houses and the downtown is dotted with small stores in brick buildings.
If you ever visit the coastal New Hampshire area add Exeter to your stops. There are plenty of spots to grab a bite to eat and adorable shops to explore.
And a couple of antique shops to stroll through. My weakness!!
There’s even a bookstore to peruse. It’s nice to see non-chain bookstores around, isn’t it?
