This holiday season I’ve challenged myself to try and DIY all the beautiful things that I’ve been crushing on from all my favorite retailers. Let me show you how I made these super easy DIY gold Christmas trees.

The inspiration for these little gold trees was an item I saw in the Threshold designed with Studio McGee Christmas line last month.
Here are the inspiration trees:
How to Make Gold Tabletop Trees
To make these Christmas trees I’m using the same wood trees that I used in the Plaster of Paris Tabletop Trees. They are from craftoutlet.com and come in 12″ and 8″ sizes.
supplies
- WOOD CRAFT TREES
- ROSE GOLD SPRAY PAINT
- ROSE GOLD GLITTER
Paint
I set up the trees in my garage and sprayed them both with a coat of Krylon Rose Gold Metallic Paint.
After the spray paint was dry, I brought them back into my workshop to finish them off with a little glitter.
Add Glitter
Using spray adhesive, I coated the trees with a light coat.
Then I sprinkled a generous amount of fine rose gold glitter over the entire tree.
