Hi Friends!! Welcome to my weekly rewind sharing what’s new here on the blog, cool things I’ve seen around the web that I think you will be interested in, and fun things that I have been doing in my life.
What’s Been Happening
Well, up here in New Hampshire I’m not so patiently waiting for Spring temps to get here…we had a little bit of snow overnight and it’s 19° here this morning!! But I’m so happy that we turned the clocks forward…I’m finally back on schedule! My Mom just texted me to say the same thing! I’ve been waking up right before 4 am since we moved them back in the Fall…ugh!!
OK, who has pretty Spring flowers blooming?? Send me your pictures and I’ll add them to my Weekly Rewind next week! Email me: jennifer@cottageonbunkerhill.com with the subject Spring Flowers.
So what do you do on a cold rainy/snowy day in New Hampshire…go to Trader Joe’s and buy all the flowers…well not all but a few!!
Trader Joe’s is my #1 spot for fresh flowers and greenery. Plus, they usually have a great houseplant selection. They are super affordable too!

I needed my pop-up crate to fit them all! I’m taking the rest of my pictures for my Spring Home Tour today and needed to add some flowers and branches.

The Blogger’s Best Home Tour starts on March 21st and is packed with 30 bloggers opening up their homes to share their decorating ideas for Spring…I’m always inspired by these gals!! I’ll be sharing my home on Monday 3/21 so stay tuned…
Love These!

Heart & Hand with Magnolia has the prettiest idea to add to your trailing houseplants! I saw these Plant Trellis Stakes when they released their Spring line and loved them and decided to order them. I was pleasantly surprised at how big they are… and sturdy too! I definitely think they are worth the $14.99.

Here’s the round trellis stake in one of my pothos plants…love how it looks! It adds a little character to my shelf I think.
What’s New on the Blog
I tried out an idea I had in my brain for a while!! Using a few dried flowers and greenery and a package of terracotta air dry clay I made Pressed Flower Clay Plaques… check out how they came out!!

And you got a sneak peek of this Magnolia-inspired project earlier but see how I turned a couple of $3 thrift store finds into something I have been crushing on from Magnolia Market…
Spring Inspiration
I love every one of the 9 Spring DIY Home Decor Projects that you can see over on Rachel at The Ponds Farmhouse.
Is this a scroll stopper or what??!! It’s all just so pretty!! Kim of Shiplap & Shells is sharing How to Create a Garden Party Easter Tablescape on a Budget
And for 17 Simple Spring Garden Ideas and loads of beautiful garden pictures stop by Stacy at Bricks N Blooms to be inspired.
My friend Kim of Cottage in the Mitten has added the prettiest accessories to her home this Spring…and has been doing it all one-handed because she recently had surgery!! I think it’s all so pretty and I really love her blue heron prints.
OK, I haven’t stopped thinking about this adorable Bunny Puff Pastry Easter Tart made by Jen of Tatertots and Jello. I mean how yummy does that look??!!

I have to give a happy shout-out to a local gal that I’ve shared on here before. Jen is the inventor of the Momremedy Cleaner and is featured in this month’s Better Homes & Gardens Clean House Awards!!

I can attest to how well of not only a cleaner it is but it’s also a kick-butt stain remover!! Especially if you have a husband who likes to eat chocolate frozen yogurt on your light gray sectional after you are sleeping!!! I still may curse under my breath but at least the stains come out!!
The Momremedy cleaner is sold on their website and also on Amazon. (2 bottles sell for $17.99 on both places) She also has refill sizes and wipes.
I also designed a new logo this week…when I was procrastinating on finishing a project LOL!! What do you think??

in case you missed it…

Did you catch my Easy Glazed Lemon Loaf Cake?? Oooh, this one is so yummy and super easy to make!

My Spring Flowers in a Wood Crate project will get you in the Spring mood quickly! All you need are your choice of artificial Spring flowers and an unfinished mini crate to recreate the look for your home!
Coming up this week…
This week I’ll be joining Stacy and Kim on our monthly thrifting post. I never need an excuse to go thrifting!!
I’m also working on a fun project for Friday for a Bunny-themed blog hop!!
I have 2 DIY projects on my workbench that I hope to get done for you all to see!! Someone needs to find a way to add a few hours to my day!!
See you next time!! Enjoy the rest of your day…

Jennifer,
I really love your pressed flowers in clay. I’ve ordered some clay. You encouragement me to give it a try. Thanks for sharing my post today.
Yes, it’s a fun medium to work with! I ordered some of the cement color too but haven’t figured out what I’m going to make yet!
Thank you for the mention, friend! You have so many beautiful things posted this week. I loved the Magnolia thrift store flip you did! You never disappoint! I am definitely making your lemon loaf. AND…your new logo is amazing! Well done!
