5 Minute Fall Wreath

In: Fall Decorating Ideas & Projects, Wreaths

Who wants a no-fuss easy project for Fall…raise ’em up!!! My 5 minute Fall wreath is a perfect choice! Not only is this little wreath quick to put together it’s cheap too… let’s get started.

This post may include affiliate links; you can read my disclosure policy here.

supplies

To make this wreath I used a bamboo wreath from the Dollar Tree and a few leaves from a bunch I got at Michael’s.

The cream maple leaves I’m using have a slight sepia tone to them that fits in with a light or neutral Fall look. This is also the perfect look for early Fall when you want to start changing over your decor from Summer but don’t want the full-out pumpkinpalooza!!

wreath and leaves

making the wreath

The first step is to pluck the leaves off the main stems. The bush of stems has a variety of different size leaves.

cream faux leaves

I started on one side of the wreath by securing a set of leaves. Most of the stems I slipped under the bamboo of the wreath to keep them in place, but I did have a stubborn couple of leaves that I needed to hot glue in place.

adding a faux leaf to a wreath

It’s important to vary the size of the leaves as you are working your way down the wreath. It will give it a full look ( and it most definitely won’t look like it only took us a couple of minutes to whip it together!!)

making a wreath

This is going to be an asymmetrical wreath so I only added leaves to the bottom half of the bamboo form.

It would be just as lovely if you continued on and covered the form with the leaves.

here are a few fun facts…

  1. I’ve lived in New England my entire life! This is good because the beach is my favorite place to be…even in the winter, I love to go breathe in the salt air.
  2. I am an EARLY BIRD!!! I rarely sleep past 4…it’s my favorite time of day and those wee hours are my most productive. (plus, I LOVE coffee!!)
  3. The Gilmore Girls is my favorite all-time TV show…I’ve seen every episode at least 20 times!! “You jump, I jump, Jack” is my #1 favorite. (I.Y.K.Y.K.)

Thanks Rachel!! I love an easy project…and it’s satisfying when it comes out pretty in a couple of minutes (as opposed to projects that you decide and hour into that it’s awful!!)
