Hi friends!! Isn’t it crazy that we are on the last flip of the 2021 calendar??!! How the heck is it December already.
I feel like I’ll still be decorating until Christmas…I usually have everything done in early November so I can get all the photography done and I start on DIYs in the early Fall so I’m all queued up and ready to roll over here on the blog to give you all some decorating ideas
A few of my blogging friends have said the same…how about you?? Are you on the decorating struggle bus this season or was it easy peasy…I’m dying to know!!
Speaking of decorating…I was at my Walmart yesterday and the entire Christmas section was completely restocked!! It looked fuller than when they first put everything out. So if you were out of luck go check your store out!!
Out where they stock the wrapping paper and boxes there are the prettiest rolls of ribbon for $2.58! I stocked up and grabbed some for Valentine’s projects and a few neutral rolls for non-seasonal projects…because if you are like me when you need ribbon you never have quite the right thing in your stash!!
Weekend Fun
Hey, a girl has got to have fun!! My Mom and I went to a couple of holiday vintage markets today. Our first stop was the Holiday Vintage Bazaar. This is an annual show hosted by Vintage Bazaar New England.
The bazaar was filled with all kinds of vendors.. handmade, vintage, candles, jewelry, plants, holiday decor, clothes, soaps & lotions…seriously, just all kinds of goodies!!!
My favorite booth for finding cool pieces is Old Vintage Road (@old_vintage_road on Instagram). I loved that metal “Joy To The World” hanging bucked but it was too deep to hang on my front door because of my storm door (side note…I don’t think every part of the country knows what a storm door is…it’s the glass door in front of your normal front door to keep out the wicked New England winter!!
It was so cute…. can you picture it with greens and red berries??!! For locals, Old Vintage Road has a booth at Green Plum Vintage Goods in Newburyport, Ma. and at Canal Street Antiques in Lawrence, Ma.
I bought those 3 clay jingle bell ornaments…how could I resist they are a perfect fit for my woodland-themed tree!!
Wait until you see the bells I got for my garage entrance door…I hadn’t hung anything on it and I kept asking myself why…I guess I was just waiting for these bells!!
I had the chance to meet Lindsey and Logan Archer of Homebody in real-life!! They…are…the…cutest!!
I featured their small New England business last year in my Small Biz Shopping Guide (FYI…go check out all the cools small shops, I just went through most of the links and they are still active…really great gift ideas!!)
I have the Flannel candle on right now...it smells amazing!! I’m such a fan of bergamot, it makes your home smell so fresh!!
Another booth you would have gone ga-ga for is Fleurish Home & Garden. It has all my favorite things…flowers, plants, big pinecones, plus so many great little ideas using vintage looking containers mixed with real greens.

Another favorite of mine is Native Candle Co., it was so nice to see the owner Alanna again! Her Saturday Morning Candle is my fave…it smells like fruit loops!!

I found a great gift idea for any of your coastal or coastal-loving friends… Jill at jillhome.com makes bouy cement doorstops that are so neat! She had the cutest little trees for tabletop decorating too. Lots of coastal gift ideas.
My Mom and I made one more shopping stop. We popped into Sage Farm Antiques in N. Hampton, NH for their holiday show.
They have so many vintage goodies!! Lots of interesting containers, vintage toolboxes, snow shoes, and vintage ornaments!
I left with a set of vintage green books..great deal at $12! I just need to change out the ribbon to fit with my decor.

ONE FOR THE ROAD…
Are you looking for an easy indoor activity for your little ones?? You have to make up a batch of my homemade play dough!! It’s soooo much better than the store-bought kind (doesn’t have that distinctive PlayDoh smell!!) and lasts so much longer!!
Thanks for stopping by today!! Enjoy the rest of your day!!
