Are you ready to embrace the enchanting hues of Autumn in your home decor? I’ve just created a new collection of free Fall printables that I used to create a cozy gallery wall in my dining area.
Today I am going to show you an easy way to add the feeling of Fall to your home and help to transform your home into a cozy haven. But that’s not all—I’ve designed a delightful collection of free Fall art printables for you to download and use to spruce up your space.
Creating a Fall Gallery Wall
One thing that I love is budget-friendly decorating ideas! I’m always trying to show you that you can create a beautiful home without spending a fortune.
Today I am going to show you a super affordable way to create the coziest-looking Fall gallery wall. I’ve created a collection of Fall printables in muted Autumn colors for a more modern take on seasonal decorating. I’ve included the hottest trend in Fall decorating this year…mushrooms!! Those little fungi are surely having their time in the spotlight this year!!
This new Fall printable collection is also free for you to download!
Cozy Fall Decorating
Fall is the season of change! It seems like everyone likes to decorate for this time of the year. Maybe because it’s starting to get chilly and the days get shorter. We spend more time at home and want it to be cozy.
So adding seasonal touches to our spaces makes our homes feel warm and inviting.
One of my favorite easy ways to decorate for any season is by changing out my artwork, and I’m here to tell you that doesn’t have to be expensive!!

Planning Your Cozy Gallery Wall
To make an impact find a blank wall in your home that you want to spruce up for the Fall season. Today I am going to show you the gallery wall that I added to my dining area wall in the kitchen.
I’ve had a botanical gallery print wall here in the past so it was easy to find the holes too even though I had patched them up.
When I had originally hung the frames on the wall I figured out the center of the wall first and how high I wanted the top row to hang. Then marked the spot with a pencil and then put in the nail and hung the print. After that, it was easier to determine how far apart I wanted the frames to be from one another.
Every wall size is different so my advice would be to grab your measuring tape, a level, and a pencil.
- Measure the widths of your frames and decide on how much space you want between them.
- Take that total number of inches and after finding the center of the wall (dot it with a pencil) figure out the edges of the gallery wall by using that number.
- Every frame has hardware in different spots so after figuring out the center and outer edge you will have to determine the individual placements for your frames.
- Always use a laser level when doing a grid wall because it needs to be even.
Assembling Your Gallery Wall
First, you need to find a few frames to use for your prints. My best advice is to hit your local Home Goods, Michael’s, or home decor stores. I’ve had my frames for 5 years and were from Christmas Tree Shops ( I miss them!!).
How To Print
There are many options for printing out this Fall artwork. You could use your home printer, but I would only recommend that if you are just printing out one or two. Otherwise, you will use up all of your ink!
What I did was have mine printed at Staples. Just choose professional printing and pick a heavyweight paper or cardstock. My prints are done on the linen resume paper.
Since they will be printed on standard 8.5 x 11 paper you will have to trim the edges to fit in your 8×10 frames.
You could also have the Fall printables made as 8 x 10 photographs but this will cost more than having them printed as copies from an office store.
designing the layout
The Fall printable collection has a variety of different elements. There are 3 different mushroom designs, 2 pumpkins, feathers, leaf branches, a pinecone, and a deer.
You will have to decide how many you want to use for your own home project. For the gallery wall over behind my dining table, I am going to use 9 of the prints.
I just played around with the layout for a few minutes to get a balanced look. A mushroom print in each row and then I tried to spread out the dark colors to create a cohesive look.
Framing & Hanging the Fall Printable Gallery
One thing to be aware of if you are having your printables done on paper as opposed to cardstock is to be careful when you are handling them not to wrinkle or crease them before framing.
After trimming the excess paper to get them to 8 x 10 I added them to my frames, make sure before you put on the back of the frame that there aren’t any stray dust or paper particles on the glass.
After framing all of the Fall printables I hung up my new gallery wall.
Doesn’t it look great?? I was certainly impressed by how the simple copies from Staples looked so rich in color! All of the prints were around $10.
Finished Fall Printable Gallery Wall
The Fall gallery wall makes the perfect backdrop for the rest of my natural Fall decor in the dining area.
For the centerpiece on the dining table, I have this DIY whimsical fresh flower-filled pumpkin. Isn’t it fun?
Now, I would love to see how you are using these Fall printables in your own home! Please send in your photos to jennifer@cottageonbunkerhill.com to be featured on the website!
