Love these ideas! Many people also love adding rugs. And I love the idea, too, because it can reduce drafts, especially if the floors are hardwood and have soem tiny gaps. But I also think it’s important to say that rugs are only good if you don’t have radiant floor heating. If you have floor heating as your main heat source, carpets can block the heat and make your rooms feel colder.
