Outdoor Fall Decor

In: Fall Decorating Ideas & Projects

Here are a few easy outdoor decorating ideas for Fall

After I finished up with my front porch I added a few more things outside for Fall. I have a small area in the front yard near a crab apple tree that I decorate every season with some outdoor Fall decor.

Easy Outdoor Fall Decorating Ideas

Pumpkin Filled Wagon

In front of my crabapple tree, I have an old wooden wagon that I scooped up from a local antique store, The Collector’s Eye in Stratham.

The wagon was a bright blue paint when I purchased it and I painted it a neutral gray that works for all seasons.

FALL WAGON

I filled it with mostly faux pumpkins and added a few real mini white pumpkins on top. The weight of the real pumpkins keeps the faux ones in place if it gets windy.

Real pumpkins are my favorite and will add some to my front stairs but from the road, you can’t really tell that these are mostly fake!

The burlap banner was made from a Dollar Tree find- it originally said “LUAU” across the front and had paper flamingos on the sides! I peeled off the sparkly letters and did a quick stencil and painted on the “FALL”

Fall Yard Stake

FALL YARD STAKE

The yard stake was also a Dollar Tree find. I painted over the bright Autumn colors with a coat of light gray chalk paint and hand-wrote the words.

The antique pail was filled with soil to hold the stake and added some mini pumpkins and a mini leaf garland to finish the look.

Hanging door basket

AUTUMN DOOR BASKET

I love this rattan basket that I bought from Antique Farmhouse a few years back. It’s so versatile! I love the idea of using a basket on the door instead of a traditional wreath sometimes to mix up your outdoor Fall decor.

Now, I’m ready for Fall!
