Say Goodbye To Fruit Flies: DIY Traps

Now that it is Summer fruit flies may becoming a problem in your kitchen. Here are a couple of homemade ways to get rid of those little pests.

For this method, you will need a small bowl, apple cider vinegar, dish soap, and water.

Cider Vinegar

Pour apple cider vinegar into a small bowl or cup.

  Next, add a little dish soap to the bowl.

Add Water

Finish with a squirt of water to make the soap bubbly.

 Place the trap on your counter where you have noticed the fruit flies. They are attracted to the scent of the vinegar and will get trapped in the soap.

Jar Method

This time you will need a small jar or glass, plastic wrap, elastic, a toothpick, vinegar, & soap.

 Pour cider vinegar into the jar and then a squirt of dish soap.
