Forsythia are the first flowering shrub here in New England.
The bright yellow flowers are a welcome sight after a long winter! Here is an easy forsythia wreath to make to welcome Spring.
2 Forsythia Stems 2 Pussy Willow Stems Grapevine Wreath Green Moss Added Bird's Nest: Spanish moss, mini eggs, spray adhesive.
What to Do:
01
Trim off the excess stem off of the forsythia flowrs.
Add Forsythia:
02
Start on one side of the wreath and add stems tucking them into the grapevine to secure in place. Repeat on other side of wreath
03
Next tuck in pieces of the pussy willow stems.
How It Should Look:
04
Repeat on the opposite side of the wreath.
You can tuck pieces of green moss into the grapevine wreath for more detail if you like.
Hot glue the DIY nest onto your wreath. I like it slightly off-center near the bottom.
