How to Make Yarn-Wrapped Pumpkins

Jennifer Howard | Cottage On Bunker Hill

It's time to start thinking about fall decorating! And what better way to add a touch of cozy charm to your home than with some yarn-wrapped pumpkins? These adorable pumpkins are easy to make and can be customized to your own style.

To make a yarn-wrapped pumpkin, you will need the following supplies: – Small foam pumpkins – Assorted textured yarn – Yarn needle – Wood stems  – Hot glue gun

Hollow out the center of the foam pumpkin.

Thread the yarn through the pumpkin. Cut a piece of yarn about 5 feet long and tie one end to the yarn needle. Thread the yarn through the top of the pumpkin and start wrapping.

No need for a needle when working with chunky yarn, just use your fingers to thread the yarn through the pumpkin and wrap.

Continue wrapping the yarn around the pumpkin until it is completely covered.

Add a wood stem to the top of the yarn pumpkin. (at Dollar Tree)

Yarn-wrapped pumpkins are a fun and easy way to add a touch of Fall charm to your home. With a little bit of yarn and some simple instructions, you can create your own unique pumpkins that will last for years to come.
