Jennifer Howard | Cottage on Bunker Hill

Hummingbirds are important pollinators, and they help to spread pollen from flower to flower. Here are 5 flowers to plant that will attract them.

Morning Glory

Hummingbirds are attracted to trumpet or tubular flowers.  Morning glories are an easy climbing flower to plant from seed.

You will hear the hum of the hummingbird wings in your patch of Zinnias!

Now here is an easy one to find!  Hummingbirds love petunia flowers.

Be sure to add a pack of snapdragon seeds this year to make your garden a hummingbird destination.

Bee Balm

Bee balm is a favorite for all your backyard polliantors! The red and bright pink varieties are sure to catch their eye!

It really is so much fun to watch them in your garden! Here a monarch and hummingbird are fighting for the same zinnia...the butterfly won!
