Cottage Style Spring Decorating Ideas: Entryway Table

By Jennifer Howard

For Spring, I decided to decorate my entyway table with mostly thrifted and vintage finds.  It has such a pretty cottage style vibe!

First up was taking a thrift store vase and wrapping it with seagrass rush and painting it with white chalk paint. Then I added fresh Spring branches.

Instead of putting candles in these holders I added a DIY bird's nest and a mini pot of Trader Joe's flowers to them.

It's really easy to make your own bird's nest decorations!  Check out my tutorial for the details! (near the end of the page)

I scored this pewter bowl for $3 at my thrift store!! I found the same one on eBay for $30!! Looks so pretty with Spring violets!

I added a few fern stems to French double decalitre container from a local antique store,

IT all came together to create a pretty cottagy look for my entryway table...without buying anything new!.

“This definitely chased away the winter blues today!!" You can see how I put together the bunny wreath on my door too (link below)
