4th of July Rag Wreath

By Jennifer Howard | Cottage on Bunker Hill

Here's an easy DIY project...even if you aren't a crafty person!! All you need is some patriotic fabric and a wire wreath form.

.Cut fabric into inch wide by 8 inch long pieces. Just eyeball it...it doesn't have to be exact!!

Make a big pile of each fabric. You can use whatever size and shape of wire wreath for this project. I'm using a 24 inch frame. (really big!!)

1

Wrap a piece of the fabric around the outer 2 wires of the wreath frame.

Tie the piece of fabric in a simple knot on top.

2

Now just keep going! Tie a piece of fabric around the middle 2 wires and knot on top, then do the outer 2 wires.

My suggestion is put on a good Netflix movie and make this wreath! It takes time to do a big wreath like mine but it's repetitive so you don't have to think about it too much!

After the wreath is done just cut any hanging threads or pieces that are too long.

Here's the finished wreath!

Didn't that pile of fabric strips turn out pretty!!
