Spring Into Style:  Decorating and Entryway

Jennifer Howard | Cottage on Bunker Hill

Today I am going to show you how I decorated my small entryway area for Spring.

Entryway Table

On the entryway tabletop for Spring I added a combination of thrifty finds.  The large mirror reflects light and makes the area feel larger & brighter.

01. Large Vase

A large vase filled with flowering cherry blossom braches adds height to the table and a natural touch. The vase was an ugly flea market find that I upcycled!

Trader Joe's has fresh Spring branches right now.

I leaned a yard sale find against the mirror. The pansy painting is perfect for Spring.

The candlestick holder was a Goodwill find. A matte gold spray paint gave it a modern look.

02

Spring Styling

I like to mix different decorating styles: more modern shapes with vintage looks to create a layered and collected look for my home.

03

Spring Scent Idea

I saved the buds from a bunch of white spray roses. After they dried I put them in a ceramic bowl and added drops of rose essential oil to them for a DIY potpourri.

04. Vintage Finds

The bottom shelf was a great place to add a few vintage finds. But the rabbit is a new statue that I painted to look old.

 05. Spring Wreath

Wreaths aren't just for outside. I hung this Ikea wreath on the inside of the front door.  I loved the natural look.
