Shopping at thrift stores has become increasingly popular in recent years There are so many great pieces of home decor to be found at a fraction of the cost of new items. Let me show you how I upcycled a thrift store lamp!
The next step is to choose your paint. I recommend using spray paint. I gave the lamp a coat of black paint as a primer because of the shiny finish on the lamp
This is a cool product to have on hand! It works great to transform cheap vases too!
After the stone paint was dry I grabbed a dark green spray paint to finish the lamp off.
Here is a close-up of the finished lamp to see the texture the stone paint creates.
Upcycling a thrift store lamp is a great way to add a unique and stylish touch to your home. So, what are you waiting for? Start hunting for a lamp today!
